Wintermute has created an alert code to notify if an ETH wallet encounters a potential draining attack
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the crypto market maker Wintermute has stated that it has created code to inject warnings into verified malicious contracts. If Ethereum users encounter a potential attack that could deplete their wallet funds, they will receive a warning. The warning message states: "Criminals are using malicious contracts to automatically execute ETH transactions, please do not send any ETH." Wintermute added that the Ethereum Virtual Machine bytecode has been reversed into human-readable Solidity code and publicly verified.
