Tariff Policy Advancement Stalled, Trump Administration Seeks Help from Appeals Court
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the Trump administration in the United States has requested the federal appeals court to block a previous order by the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia that deemed its tariff policy "illegal." On May 29 local time, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, located in the capital Washington, issued a preliminary injunction against the tariff measures imposed by the Trump administration on multiple countries under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act. This ruling pertains to a lawsuit initiated by two small American businesses against the federal government on April 22.
