Ukrainian Police Arrest Man Suspected of Hacking International Company Servers for Cryptocurrency Mining
According to a report by Cointelegraph, as reported by Jinse Finance, Ukrainian police have arrested a man accused of hacking into the accounts of an international hosting company and using its servers for cryptocurrency mining, which is evidently a case of "cryptojacking." In a statement, the Cyber Police of the National Police of Ukraine stated that the 35-year-old man from the Poltava region had been searching for cybersecurity vulnerabilities in multiple international companies and gaining access to their servers since at least 2018.
