伊朗武装部队发言人谢卡奇准将对伊朗国家电视台说，以色列和美国将为伊朗核设施和军事目标遭到的袭击付出“沉重的代价”。伊朗最高领袖哈梅内伊发表声明称：“今天上午，‘犹太复国主义政权’向我们心爱的国家的伸出了肮脏和血腥的手并犯下罪行，比以往任何时候都更频繁地袭击居民区，暴露了其邪恶的本性。这个政权（内塔尼亚胡政府）肯定会受到严厉惩罚……许多指挥官和科学家在敌人的袭击中牺牲了……由于这一罪行，‘犹太复国主义政权’给自己准备了一个苦涩和痛苦的命运，并且肯定会得到它。”
