Bank of America: 26% of respondents believe Bostic will be the next Fed Chair
According to a report by Jinse Finance, the July global fund manager survey by Bank of America shows that U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen is the frontrunner to succeed Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell. President Trump is expected to nominate a new Fed chair in the second half of 2025, while Powell’s term will end in May 2026. The survey indicates that 26% of respondents believe Yellen will become the next Fed chair, followed by 17% supporting Walsh, 14% supporting Waller, and 7% expecting Hassett to be chosen.
