Cathie Wood Predicts Bitcoin to Hit $1,5 Million by 2030
ARK Invest CEO, Cathi Wood, once again caught the market's attention by reinforcing his optimistic view on the future of Bitcoin (BTC). In an interview with the program The Diary of a CEO, the manager stated that the main cryptocurrency can multiply its value by 15 times in the next decade, reaching US$1,5 million per unit by 2030.
According to Wood, the projection is supported by three pillars: growing institutional adoption, limited supply of BTC and the strengthening of the network as a "new global monetary system" supported by the world's largest computing infrastructure. "We are facing an asset that can transform the global financial system," he emphasized.

- Bitcoin's New All-Time High
- Macroeconomic context and perspectives
Bitcoin's New All-Time High
The statements come amid a period of euphoria in the market. On the day August 14th, 2025, Bitcoin broke the barrier of US$ 124.000, registering a new all-time high (ATH). The appreciation reflects, in part, the optimism of investors in the face of the expectation of interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve, in addition to the flow of institutional capital directed towards the sector.
Although it has retreated slightly after the peak, BTC remains around US$ 115.600, accumulating appreciation of more than 30% only in 2025. The movement contributed to pushing the total crypto market capitalization above $4,2 trillion, consolidating the strength of the sector.
Macroeconomic context and perspectives
Bitcoin's rally is also driven by a more favorable macroeconomic environment. Analysts point out that a less restrictive monetary policy in the United States could increase appetite for risk assets, including BTC. Furthermore, regulatory advances in key markets, such as the US and Europe, have provided greater legal certainty to investors and companies in the sector.
Another relevant point is the increase in IPOs of companies linked to the crypto industry, who find fertile ground in the current appreciation cycle to attract investors. This movement reinforces Cathie Wood's view that Bitcoin and digital assets are entering a new phase of maturity, with an increasingly relevant role in institutional portfolios.
