Status to Build L2 on Linea, Offering Gas-Free Transactions and 100% Net Revenue Returned to the Community

Foresight News reports that Linea announced on Twitter that Status will build an L2 through Linea, making the Status network one of the first teams to directly contribute to the Linea codebase. The L2 chain developed by Status will offer gas-free transactions, with 100% of net proceeds returned to the community and the project open-sourced to the public. Founded in 2017, Status is one of the founding members of the Linea Alliance and is responsible for managing 75% of the Linea token supply.
