LONG: If you actually look at the total altcoin market, there are probably honestly 30 or less coins that have pumped since the $BTC market bottom in March/April. I mean look at the average altcoin. Not only did they not even move in that first april/march move but they've been chopping forever. Coins like $OP are a prime example of that, they didn't even enjoy the pump that Fartcoin had (even if Fartcoin came all the way back down, it still did several x from the bottom). MANY alts enjoyed some miniscule pump from the bottom but if you werent in any of the leaders like ENA HYPE FARTCOIN USELESS ZEC or a handful of others, you really underperformed. It's no wonder why everyone is in despair and why general retail longingly cries for 'alt season' so often. The average altcoin is shit, you can't ever use btc.d or the TOTAL3 chart usefully anymore imo. It's a trader's market and anything that has momentum behind it is the only reason to buy a coin. I see this being the continued trend for the foreseeable future tbh. Liquidity is too dispersed, market has too many coins, and there isn't as much $ as in previous cycles. If you actually want to outperform as a retail trader, you need to be fairly locked in. You can't just log in in November and buy $LINK and walk away and sell it in January. You actually have to find the outperforming coins. It's hard out here.
