Unified trading account-Web access

Step 1: Go to the Bitget homepage and log in to your Bitget account.

Step 2: Go to Trade > Spot to enter the spot trading page.

From the top navigation bar, select Unified trading account to switch account modes.

Note: After switching, look for the Unified trading account label at the top of the page to confirm the current account mode.

Creating and editing sub-accounts in the unified trading account

Log in to your account, hover over your profile, and scroll down the menu to find Sub-accounts.

Select Sub-accounts to access the sub-account page.

Click Create.

Choose to create a General sub-account or Virtual sub-account. Note that custodial trading sub-accounts are not supported under the unified trading account.

Create a virtual sub-account: Note that only whitelisted users under the unified trading account will see the account mode option. Select Unified trading account, enable Create API, and enter the sub-account name.

Choose between a System-generated API key or a User-generated API key.

Enter Note, Passphrase, and select Permissions (subject to the account's assigned permissions).

Complete security verification to create the sub-account.

You will then see the newly created sub-account of the unified trading account on the list of sub-accounts.

On the API keys page, you can manage the API keys of the unified trading account's sub-accounts individually, such as Create, Edit, and Delete.

Note: You will not be able to cancel your main unified trading account if any sub-account holds assets or has open orders.
