Bitget to support EOS (EOS) token swap and rebranding to Vaulta (A)

Bitget will support the EOS (EOS) token swap and rebranding to Vaulta (A).

Details are as follows:

  • Deposits and withdrawals

    • On May 26, 2025, at 3:30 AM (UTC), deposits and withdrawals for EOS will be suspended.

    • Bitget will no longer support deposits and withdrawals of EOS tokens after the token swap.

  • Token swap and rebranding

    • After the token swap, EOS tokens will be rebranded to the ticker "A" on Bitget.

    • All EOS balances will be recovered, and A tokens will be distributed to eligible users at a 1:1 ratio.

  • Bitget will handle all technical requirements for users involved in this event.

  • Users may refer to the announcement from the project team for more information.

Spot

  • On May 26, 2025, at 3:30 AM (UTC), deposits and withdrawals for EOS will be suspended.

  • On May 26, 2025, at 3:00 AM (UTC), Bitget will delist the EOS/USDT spot trading pair and cancel all pending spot trade orders.

  • On May 28, 2025, at 7:00 AM (UTC), Bitget will reopen the deposits and withdrawals for A.

  • On May 28, 2025, at 8:00 AM (UTC), Bitget will restart the A/USDT spot trading pair.

Spot Margin

Bitget will remove the EOS/USDT trading pair from spot margin and close trading at 03:00 AM on May 21, 2025 (UTC).

The details are as follows:

Suspension of borrowing and lending features:

  • Bitget has closed borrowing and lending for the relevant trading pair.

  • Positions will be closed and liquidated, and the trading feature will be unavailable.

  • Bitget will automatically close the positions of users still holding positions in the relevant pair at 03:00 AM on May 21, 2025 (UTC), cancel all pending orders in margin accounts for the pair, and liquidate any outstanding liabilities. Margin trading services for the pair will be disabled, and assets will be automatically transferred to the spot account.

Users are strongly advised to close positions, cancel orders, repay loans, and transfer funds related to the relevant pairs in advance to avoid potential losses.

Spot trading bots

To improve user experience, the following trading pair will be removed from Bitget spot trading bots on May 26, 03:00 AM (UTC):

EOS/USDT

Note:

  • After removal, the system will automatically cancel any pending orders and return the relevant assets to your account.

  • Users will be unable to create any new bots with the delisted trading pair.

  • Users will no longer be able to publish running bots with the delisted trading pair to the Recommended section of the bot copy trading page.

  • Bots with the delisted trading pair that are listed in the Recommended section of the bot copy trading page will be removed.

Users are strongly advised to terminate bots with this active trading pair to avoid any potential losses. Thank you for your support and understanding!

Crypto Loan

Bitget Crypto Loan will delist EOS and discontinue lending and collateral services at 7:00 AM (UTC) on May 23, 2025. At this time, all ongoing loan orders involving EOS as debt or collateral will be automatically liquidated. The remaining principal and collateral will be returned to the user's spot account upon liquidation completion. For details, visit Crypto loans > History > Status > System liquidation.

To avoid potential losses, users are strongly advised to repay their loans in advance.

USDT-M Futures

Starting from May 20, 2025, at 7:00 AM (UTC), Bitget will suspend the opening of new positions for EOSUSDT USDT-M Futures, as well as for the EOSUSDT futures pair under the unified account. The functions for closing positions, closing orders, and setting TP/SL will remain unaffected during this period.

Users holding positions in either EOSUSDT USDT-M Futures or the EOSUSDT futures pair under the unified account must close them by May 21, 2025, at 7:00 AM (UTC). After this time, trading for both futures types will be suspended, and all open orders will be automatically canceled. Any remaining positions will be settled and closed.

Coin-M Futures

Bitget will suspend the opening of new positions for EOSUSD Coin-M Futures starting from May 20, 2025, 7:00 AM (UTC). Only position closing, order closing, and TP/SL settings will remain available.

Users who still hold EOSUSD Coin-M Futures positions must close them by May 21, 2025, 7:00 AM (UTC). After this time, the EOSUSD pair will be delisted, all trading will cease, and open orders will be canceled.

The details are as follows:

  1. Manual closing period (Now – May 21, 2025, 7:00 AM (UTC))

    1. Close your open positions in time.

    2. We recommend canceling any unfilled orders in advance.

  2. System settlement (May 21, 2025, 7:00 AM (UTC))

    1. The platform will perform final settlement.

    2. The futures will be delisted, and all trading features will be disabled.

  3. Asset handling

    1. After settlement:

    2. EOS transfers into the futures account will be disabled.

    3. EOS transfers from the futures account will remain available.

    4. If users do not withdraw their EOS manually, the system will automatically transfer the EOS assets to their spot account.

    5. Coin-M Futures not settled in EOS will remain unaffected and continue to operate normally.

Risk warning:

If positions are not closed manually by the deadline, the platform will settle them at the index price at that time. Settled assets will remain in the futures account. Users are advised to transfer these funds manually to their spot accounts. For users who do not do so, the system will automatically transfer the remaining assets to their spot accounts.

Spot trading under the unified account

To improve the trading experience, Bitget will delist the following trading pair from the unified account (spot trading) on May 17, 2025, 7:00 AM (UTC): EOSUSDT.

The details are as follows:

  1. All unfilled spot orders for this pair will be automatically canceled.

  2. After delisting:

    1. This trading pair will no longer be available for spot trading under the unified account.

    2. Assets related to the delisted pair can no longer be transferred into the unified account.

    3. Any remaining assets of the delisted trading pair in the unified account will be automatically transferred to the spot account.

  3. We strongly recommend that users manage any open orders related to the delisted pairs and transfer relevant assets from the unified account to the funding account in advance to avoid potential losses.
