Dear Bitget users,

To provide a better experience for professional traders, quants teams, and high-net-worth clients, Bitget will officially launch Bitget PRO on July 1, 2025. If you meet the PRO requirements, your tier will become effective between 00:00 and 09:00 (UTC+8) on July 2, 2025. In addition to our VIP perks, Bitget PRO offers qualified users with even lower fees, higher API frequency limits, more sub-accounts, higher withdrawal limits, dedicated account managers, and more premium services to facilitate efficient trading and asset management.

1. Bitget PRO introduction

Bitget PRO is a premium program exclusively designed for professional and institutional users. PRO users can enjoy:

Lower spot and futures transaction fees

More sub-accounts

2. Joining rules

1. Your initial Bitget PRO tier will be determined based on the following sets of criteria, with the higher qualifying tier being applied.

2. Probation period

1. For new users: If you have not been a PRO user, you will immediately start the two-month (60 days) probation with the perks of your corresponding PRO tier upon approval of your first application.
2. For existing users: Users who had been Bitget PRO before but have no probation history in the past three months will get a one-month (30 days) probation after their application is approved.
  - During the probation, users who reach the trading volume requirement of a higher tier will be automatically upgraded.
  - At the end of the probation, you will retain your PRO status if the requirements for the corresponding tier are met.

3. How to apply

Go to the application portal, fill in the required information, and upload the proof materials (displaying your own assets on Bitget, or trading volume or VIP/PRO status at another exchange).
The review process typically takes up to three working days. We will notify you of the result via the email you provided with your PRO status application. Don't forget to check your inbox.

3. Upgrade requirements and fee schedule

There are two assessment tracks for upgrade and the higher tier will automatically apply.
After each calculation, your PRO tier will be automatically updated the next day at 9:00 AM (UTC+8).

5. Definitions and formulas

30-day trading volume: Refers to the total trading volume of all main and sub-accounts over the past 30 days, calculated daily at 12:00 AM (UTC+8). When a sub-account is created, it inherits the same fee rates as the main account.
Spot: Includes spot trading and spot margin trading.
Futures: Includes USDT-M Futures, Coin-M Futures, and USDC-M Futures.
API trading volume: The total trading volume of orders executed by the system via the application programming interface (API), excluding orders placed on the website or the app.
Total trading volume: The total volume of spot and futures trades executed on the Bitget website, app, and via API.
API trading ratio: API trading ratio = (API spot trading volume + API futures trading volume) ÷ (total spot trading volume + total futures trading volume)
Maker: Maker orders are placed at a specific price but not immediately filled by counterparty orders in the order book. Instead, they wait in the order book for a counterparty order to be filled. For example, assuming that the current price is 100 USDT and a 90 USDT buy order is placed, then that order will be placed in the order book and wait for a 90 USDT sell order to be filled. The transaction fee paid upon order execution is the maker fee.
Taker: Taker orders are placed at a specific price and immediately filled by counterparty orders in the order book. For example, assuming that the current price is 100 USDT and a 100 USDT buy order is placed, then that order will be immediately filled. The transaction fee paid upon order execution is the taker fee.
24h withdrawal limit: Bitget determines your daily withdrawal limit (converted into USDT) based on your PRO tier. You cannot withdraw more than your withdrawal limit in a single day.
Own assets: Your own assets in your account, excluding assets obtained through margin borrowing, Crypto Loans and Institutional Loans.

6. FAQ

PRO application and upgrade

1. Can I apply for PRO without completing business or individual identity verification (KYB/KYC)?

No. You must complete business or individual identity verification (KYB/KYC) before applying for PRO.

2. What information is required for PRO application?

You need to provide your email address, phone number, communication channel, and proof of eligibility (screenshots showing your VIP tier at another exchange, assets, or trading volumes). API traders are required to confirm your API trading ratio.

3. How long does the PRO review process take?

The review process typically takes up to three working days. We will notify you of the result via the email you provided with your PRO status application. Don't forget to check your inbox.

4. What is the data collection period for the PRO tier assessment?

The calculation is based on your data of the last 30 days, from 12:00:00 AM of Day T-31 to 11:59:00 PM of Day T-1 (UTC+8).

5. When is my PRO tier updated?

After each calculation, your PRO tier will be automatically updated the next day at 9:00 AM (UTC+8). If a user's trading behavior triggers the risk control system, Bitget reserves the right to adjust their PRO tier.

6. Case examples on application of PRO tier and API trading ratio requirement:

Downgrade, protection period, and upgrade

1. If my 30d trading volume drops below the requirement, will I be downgraded immediately?

A 14-day protection period is provided before a downgrade from PRO to VIP takes effect. During the protection period, if your trading volume meets to the PRO requirement, you will retain your PRO tier. If you still fail to meet the requirement by the last day, you will be downgraded to the corresponding VIP tier.

There is no protection period for lowering your PRO tier (such as from PRO3 to PRO2). If your trading volume falls short of the requirement, you will be immediately downgraded to a corresponding tier.

2. Is the 14-day protection period granted each time I'm about to be downgraded from PRO to VIP?

Not always. After the 14-day protection period comes a 60-day cooling-off period. In this cooling-off period, if you trigger downgrading again, there will not be another 14-day protection period. Only after the cooling-off period ends (after 60 days) will you be granted the protection period again.

3. Does a PRO tier upgrade take effect immediately?

Yes, PRO tier upgrades are automatic. The system calculates your trading data and your tier daily at 9:00 AM (UTC+8). If you meet the requirements for a higher PRO tier, you will be upgraded automatically.

1. Can I enjoy the perks of Bitget PRO and the liquidity incentive program at the same time?

Yes, you may get the perks of Bitget PRO and the liquidity incentive program simultaneously. Our system will automatically apply the best perks and fee rates available for you, ensuring that you always get the most favorable transaction fees and perks.

2. What are the differences between the Bitget VIP program and the Bitget PRO program?

Bitget VIP: Targeting users who trade manually on our website or app.

Bitget PRO: Designed for institutional teams or highly professional traders using API. In addition to the VIP perks, PRO users enjoy higher API frequencies, exclusive technical support, and a variety of custom services designed to comprehensively facilitate large-scale and high-frequency trading, efficient asset management, and more scenarios.

3. Can PRO users participate in LaunchPool and other activities?

Users who have completed KYC, whether VIP or PRO level, can participate in LaunchPool, PoolX, and LaunchX activities. The activities are only restricted to KYB and MM identity users, and there is no restriction on user trading level.

Remarks and disclaimers

The PRO program is only open to qualified users who have completed identity verification on Bitget. Sub-accounts and affiliates are not eligible.
You are responsible for ensuring that all information submitted is true and accurate. Bitget reserves the right to disqualify users who provide false information.
