Vitalik: Simplifying hash functions to discrete logarithms is not an option

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum, replied to a netizen on X and said: "Simplifying the (Sinsemilla) hash function to discrete log is not feasible, because one of the potential goals of examining the hash function is quantum resistance. We hope to do this once and then fix the state tree from this point."
