Non-USD transactions are automatically converted into USD using Visa’s exchange rate at the time of the merchant’s settlement. This exchange rate may differ slightly from the rate on the transaction date due to fluctuations. Be aware that Visa or the issuing bank may also apply additional FX fees for these conversions.

7. What is the authorization hold, and why does it show a higher amount?

When using your Bitget Card, the authorized amount for a transaction may appear 20% higher than the actual transaction value. This additional amount is a security hold to ensure sufficient funds to cover potential fees or adjustments. The reserved amount will be released back into your Bitget Card balance once the transaction is finalized.
