OpenLeverage is a margin trading protocol for permissionless lending that allows traders to go long or short on any trading pair on DEXs securely and efficiently. It aims to build a decentralized crypto securities service for retail and institutional clients that integrates with the global DeFi ecosystem. The company believes that creating a native financial layer on the internet is essential for humanity as it is free and decentralized.
How OpenLeverage (OLE) Works
OpenLeverage enables anyone to create lending pools for any trading pair on a decentralized exchange (DEX), allowing the community to modify interest rates and risk parameters through governance. Lenders can earn higher yields by depositing assets into lending pools, receiving interest from borrowed assets, OLE rewards, or staking LToken for rewards. Traders can quickly engage in leverage trading with hundreds of DEX pairs, while projects can integrate with OpenLeverage through LToken. Liquidators can trigger liquidations and earn rewards if the collateral ratio falls below the market limit.
The protocol has two types of token, OLE and LToken. OLE is the native token that rewards contribution of participants, while LToken is the equity token that users receive when they provide assets to the lending pools.
