1. Why is identity verification necessary?

Identity verification is part of the global Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance standard. At Bitget, verifying your identity helps us manage risk, prevent fraud, and ensure the safety of your account and assets.

2. How is identity verification related to my access to Bitget services?

Starting January 1, 2024, identity verification is required to access core services such as crypto deposits and trading. You must verify your identity to continue using these features.

3. How much can I withdraw per day after completing identity verification?

Once your identity is verified, your daily withdrawal limit increases based on your VIP level:

5. How long does the KYC review process take?

KYC reviews typically take 1 business day. You’ll be notified via email or through your account dashboard once it's complete. If your verification takes longer than 1 business day, contact Live Chat Support and provide your User ID (UID). Our team will help resolve the issue promptly.

6. How do I check the status of my individual verification application?

Go to the User Center and select Identity Verification. Your application status will be displayed at the top of the page.

7. Can I use the same ID for multiple Bitget accounts?

No. Each user is allowed to verify only one Bitget account. Submitting the same ID for multiple accounts will lead to rejection.

8. Can I complete individual verification on my sub-account?

No. Identity verification can only be completed on your main account. Once verified, your sub-accounts will automatically inherit the same access permissions.

9. Can I complete individual verification on more than one Bitget account?

No. Each user can verify only one Bitget account. If you need multiple trading accounts, we recommend opening sub-accounts under your verified main account.

10. How many times can I attempt individual verification in a day?

You can attempt identity verification up to 5 times within 24 hours. If all attempts fail, you’ll need to wait another 24 hours before trying again.

11. Can I change my identity information after verification?

You can only correct your name for Individual Verification if the KYC details do not match your legal name. However, if there is any mistake (missing alphabet, numbers or wrong D.O.B) in the information you submitted, please contact customer service for further assistance.

12. Can I delete my individual verification?

You cannot delete your identification verification unless:

  • Your account is deleted.

  • You had changed your nationality (e.g. migration).

  • You could not proceed your fiat deposit/withdrawal with your SEPA account. Please ensure both SEPA account Bitget account have the same identification information.

Note: Users have to bear the consequences for any loss of funds if any misuse of KYC information is conducted, as it may lead to account dispute or fraud related activities.

13. Will my account be restricted after resetting identity verification?

Yes. Your account will be temporarily unverified. You won’t be able to deposit or trade until the new verification is complete.

The reset process typically takes 1 business day, depending on the verification queue.

15. How will I know if my KYC was rejected?

You’ll receive a notification in your Bitget account or an email with the reason for the rejection.

16. What should I do if my KYC is rejected?

Review the rejection reason carefully, correct the issue (e.g., upload clearer images or provide valid documents), and resubmit your application.
